  1. You can define the company's territories by geography, product type, or both.
  2. Leads imported into the system are automatically processed to find a match among defined territories.
  3. Leads with territory-matches can also be automatically sent-on-receive to the sales contacts assigned to the territories. You can arrange for that as part of the lead-handling scheme of each source that are on record.
  4. The order in which territories are arranged with respect to one another can make a difference in determining which territoriy a lead belongs to. It's the first territory that fits a lead's geography and/or product type. Drag assignments into desired order using the handle in the first column, or right click in the same area for more options.
