Manage Roles

Overview

In channelSUITE, roles and privileges are you used to assign access controls to features. Roles let you roll up privileges into real world functional groups. By default, you get predefined roles for System Administrator, Leads Administrator, and Co-op Administrator. You can rename/redefine this default roles and related mappings to match your specific business needs. Note: the original role and privilege mappings are provided below for your reference, or if you need to restore them later.

How to Manage Roles

Add a New Role

Click the Add New link at the top of the page. Enter name and optional description and click save.

Edit an Existing Role Name or Description

Click the edit icon under the role name of the role you want to edit.

Change Privileges for a Role

Simply toggle the check boxes for the privileges you want to the role to have in their respective column. When you're doing making your adjustments, click the Save button on the bottom of the page.

Delete an Existing Role

Click the delete icon under the role name of the role you want to delete. Click Proceed after heeding the role deletion conformation details.

Lockout Protection

The system will prevent you from making change that remove Manage Corporate Users privilege from all users, preventing your from locking yourself out of the administrator features.

Lead Administrator

  • Import Leads
  • Manage Sales Territories
  • Manage Sources & Schemes
  • Send/Resend Leads

Co-op Administrator

  • Act on Behalf of Partner
  • Grant Pre-Approvals, Reimbursements
  • Manage Budget Lines
